NDA(I) 2017 RESULT


NDA 2017 Result is releasing shortly in the month of July 2017. The entrance exam of NDA is conducted two times in the month of April and September. For the year 2017, NDA (I) exam was conducted on 23rd April 2017 and NDA (II) will be scheduled on 10th September 2017 respectively. NDA exam result can be viewed online through the official website of UPSC. The result is announced in two stages, first is the result of written test which contains the roll number of candidates who are shortlisted for the SSB round. The second or NDA final result is announced after SSB interview. Candidates are strongly advised to keep your roll number safe as the result will print only the roll number of qualified candidates. To qualify the written test, students need to secure the cut-off marks prescribed by the board.

NDA 2017 Result Declaration Date

After the successful completion of examination, UPSC announces the NDA result for written examination. Generally, the result will be announced after one month of the examination. It is expected that UPSC NDA result 2017 for NDA (I) and NDA (II) will be declared in the month of July and October 2017 respectively. The qualified candidates will be required to appear the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview round for the final selection.

NDA 2017 final result will be published around two months after the conduct of interviews. The candidates who have qualified the last round i.e. SSB round will be eligible for admission to Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force.

How to Check NDA Result

Candidates can check NDA 2017 result by following these simple steps:
  • Visit the official link (link will be provided on given time).
  • Click the link related to result.
  • Result will be available in PDF format.
  • PDF contains the roll numbers of qualified candidates for interview conducted by Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.
  • Take the PDF file of result and keep it safe for further references.

SSB Interview Process

A rank list will be prepared of candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam. After qualifying SSB Interview round students will get selected of defence forces. The SSB interview has been divided into two stages. Whole process of SSB interview will be conducted over five days.
On the first stage candidates have to clear Picture Perception & Description Test (PP & DT) and Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR). In the second stage, students have to go through the Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, Interview and Conference rounds. The SSB Interview round will bear maximum 900 marks. Final result will be announced after the completion of SSB Round. SSB interview qualified candidates have to go through the medical test organized by the authority

The written exam was conducted at various centres across India. The result of written exam of the NDA NA 2017 exam is based on marks obtained in the test held earlier this year. Candidates must obtain cut off marks to qualify. The NDA cut off for NDA and NA 2017 is determined by UPSC.

Mumbai’s Vikrikar Bhavan renamed as GST Bhavan
Mumbai’s ‘Vikrikar Bhavan’ was renamed as ‘GST Bhavan’ on 2nd of July 2017 after the Goods and Services Tax regime was rolled out.
Key Points:
i. ‘Vikrikar Bhavan’ is the headquarters of Maharashtra government’s erstwhile Sales Tax department.
ii. The department has planned a helpline to assist traders and business community who have queries about the new tax regime’s implementation and modalities.
iii. In two years, the ‘GST Bhavan’ will be shifted to Wadala from Mazgaon.

Achal Kumar Jyoti is India’s new Chief Election Commissioner
Election Commissioner Achal Kumar Jyoti will take charge as the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India after current CEC Nasim Zaidi retires on July 6, 2017. Nasim Zaidi had taken over as the 20th CEC of India on April 19, 2015.
i. He assumed charge as Election Commissioner on May 13, 2015.
ii. An Election Commissioner or a Chief Election Commissioner has tenure of six years in office or till he or she attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
