The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday issued a notification announcing date and procedure for applying for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017 on its official website.
Approximately, 390 posts will be filled through this exam: 335 for the National Defence Academy (208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy) and 55 posts for the Indian Naval Academy.
The last date for submission of application for the examination is June 30, 2017 till 6pm. The written examination will be conducted by UPSC on September 10, 2017 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 140th Course, and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2018. The date examination is tentative and liable to be changed at the discretion of the commission.

Nationality and Marital Status:
Candidates must be Indian Nationals, a subject of Bhutan or Nepal, Tibetan refugee came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defense Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy – Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Math and Physics from a well-known education board.
